Why BeachBody Programs Are A Waste of Money

Don’t get us wrong, we like the BeachBody programs, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t a huge waste of money. Here is a MEtabolis_COoking_staggering fact leaked by BeachBody themselves, 93% of people who bought p90x didn’t finish the program. WHAT!?

Does that really surprise you? It didn’t surprise us. In fact, we we’re part of that statistic. For us, P90X lasted about 7 days (It was actually T25 for me, never did P90X).

But Why?

The answer is simple. It’s just to hard. Most people can’t even make it through the warm ups when they first pop in the DVD. Let me summarize every BeachBody workout program for you in a couple sentences. Stand up. Now, jump in place and don’t stop moving until 30 to 90min is up (depending on what program you’re doing).

Do they work?

Of course they work! If you finish them. The truth is they are extreme overkill for anybody who doesn’t already have a 6 pack. Look down at your stomach, do you see a 6 pack? No? Then there is no way you are getting past day 4 of any BeachBody program. Don’t waste your $200!

A Better Solution (much cheaper too)

When it comes to losing weight, most people have heard the saying,

“It’s 80% what you put into your body, and 20% what you do to it.”

The most important factor in any weight loss program is your diet. 100% absolutely true. If you perform no exercise at all, but change the way you are eating, you will drop pounds faster then you could have ever imagined. In terms of exercise, if you are eating correctly breaking a sweat 2-3 times a week is more then enough exercise for you to drop 15-20 pounds in a month.

Breaking a sweat could be anything from lifting weights or walking around the park on a warm day. It does’t have to be this BeachBody style of run til’ you die exercise.

How We FINALLY got our BEACH BODIES!
